  • The Facts

Simply put, we are going to Japan to serve.

Who: Please visit our "Meet the Team" page

What: Following the 9.0 magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami, our team will travel to the worst hit areas and make ourselves available to do whatever needs to be done.

    What we know for sure:

~We will be working with several local groups, churches and individuals to meet the practical needs of the people who have not yet been able to receive help.

~We will bring water, food, first-aid supplies, clothes, blankets, safety masks, etc to give to people we encounter along the way.

~We will set out to love the people with the love of our Lord Jesus for eternal changes that go far beyond the needs of today, or even of this life.

~We will talk to the people and cry with them and seek to serve as individual needs present themselves.

As we talk to our contacts it is clear that the needs are changing nearly everyday. Therefore, it is hard to know exactly what the team will encounter as we go, but the objective is to serve the people of Japan who cannot presently help themselves.

    When: Sept. 9-24

We are working with our contacts in Sendai to make sure we are not a burden to the supply chain for the locals and, being mindful of this, we have secured lodging and transportation/fuel nearby the effected areas.

Where: The majority of our efforts will be focused on the Sendai area.
