There are a number of ways that you can help support both our team and the people of Japan.
First and foremost, please pray for the situation in Japan. There are so many needs and each day that passes presents new challenges to those who lost their families and homes in this great tragedy....and even to those who's homes were miraculously spared.
~Pray for the people not to lose hope. The suicide rates are climbing as time goes on.
~Pray for safety for those who are travelling to Japan to help the recovery, as well as the locals who are giving their lives to try and save/help just one more person who is trapped or has yet to receive the help they need.
~Pray about what you can give.(Continue reading to find out what specific donations are needed)
Secondly, we are gathering financial gifts so that the team can buy supplies as they see the needs of those they come in contact with. Our team members personal expenses are being covered by either their own money or through donations specifically dedicated to that need. Therefore, unless you tell us otherwise, 100% of your tax-deductible donations will go directly to the people of Japan.
To receive a receipt for your taxes please make checks payable to: Japanese Int'l Baptist Church (or just 'JIBC') and make a note in the memo that says "Hope Japan".

*****Please keep in mind that the needs of the people of Japan will be ongoing for many months, even years, to come.
